Description

The MAXONIQ OsseoFrame is a subperiosteal, titanium (Ti64), patient-specific surgical implant individually designed from a 3D Computed Tomography (CT) or Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scan provided to MAXONIQ by the referring surgeon. The OsseoFrame is fixated to alveolar bone of the maxilla or mandible to fit the natural contours. An OsseoFrame is comprised of a baseplate with holes for screw fixation and transmucosal connectors for dental prosthesis attachment. The OsseoFrame is intended to be used on the alveolar bone of the mandible or maxilla to provide a stable and permanent platform for fixation of the dental prosthesis. The OsseoFrame is indicated to restore oral function and facial aesthetics in edentulous patients missing 3 or more adjacent teeth with atrophic jaws, low sinus floors or who have undergone partial jaw resection. The OsseoFrame may also be beneficial for patients who cannot tolerate removable dentures and desire a fixed solution; who cannot tolerate complex bone graft surgery to support dental implants; or if they want replacement teeth immediately after surgery. The dental prosthesis is supplied separately and is to be fitted by surgeon, a restorative dentist or a prosthodontist. The OsseoFrame may be supplied with a biomodel and a surgical guide, both these items have separate Prosthesis Listings.
