BIOTWIN
The composite interference screw is a fixation system designed to insure fixation of a transplant within a bone tunnel as part of a knee ligament reconstruction procedure. It is a resorbable device composed of poly(L-Lactic-co-D,L-Lactic) acid, hydroxyapatite and Beta-tricalcium Phosphate. The composite interference screw is available in different diameters (D) and lengths (L) thus allowing the adjustment of the size of the screw to the size of the bone tunnel and therefore an optimal fixation of the transplant. Its internal print is unique and specific to the installation instrumentation to be used for its implantation.
