The Telescopic Nail includes a special designed corkscrew end on the distal part of the male nail that holds the nail firmly in the bone and prevents damage to the growth plate. The Telescopic Nail is indicated for children with long bone deformity corrections, fracture stabilisation, patients with osteoporotic bone and for children older than 18 months who are diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta.
