The Coiled Lead Blank made out of stainless steel is optionally used during surgery to clear a path for the introduction of the SCS Lead into the epidural space. The coiled lead blank is a tool used to help clear obstructions within the cannula of the insertion needle and may be used by the physician to verify access to the epidural space.
