The Nucleus 8 (CP1110) - Hybrid Mode is a behind-the-ear (BTE) sound processor that is designed to function in a similar manner to the Nucleus 7 (CP1000) Sound Processor but with improved features such as smaller size, new directional noise reduction algorithm (SmartSound® iQ 2 with SCAN 2), Bluetooth® LE Audio Ready technology and automate function. The sound processor consists of the processing unit, Slimline™ coil, magnet and battery module. The Nucleus 8 in hybrid mode facilitates acoustic stimulation in the cochlea.
