Nucleus 8 Nexa Sound Processor - Hybrid Mode (Nucleus 8 Nexa) is a behind-the-ear (BTE) sound processor and exclusively compatible with Nucleus Nexa cochlear implants. It has similar features to the Nucleus 8, including SmartSound iQ 2 with SCAN 2 directional noise reduction algorithm, Bluetooth LE Audio Ready technology and automate function. The sound processor consists of the processing unit, Slimline coil, magnet and battery module. The Nucleus 8 Nexa in hybrid mode facilitates acoustic stimulation in the cochlea.
