The ELLA BD Stent is a self-expanding biodegradable stent made of polydiaxanone designed to slowly degrade when in contact with living tissue. Full degradation of stent occurs within 11-12 weeks of implantation. It is designed for dilation and treatment of benign oesophageal lesions.
