MONOBLUE SafR is a sterile ophthalmic dye for temporary staining of ocular tissues in the background of cataract surgery. MONOBLUE SafR is a solution of Trypan Blue in a buffered isotonic vehicle at the concentration of 0.055%. At this concentration, Trypan Blue does not penetrate healthy cells but only dead cells. It allows the differentiation of cells with altered function and disturbed membrane exchanges.
