EmboGold Microspheres are biocompatible, hydrophilic, non-resorbable, microspheres produced from an acrylic polymer and impregnated with porcine gelatin. The microspheres are mixed with a non-ionic contrast agent are delivered in a controlled manner under visualization and mechanically occlude the feeding vessel(s) to permanently interrupt artery blood flow to the targeted area.
